Well, my buddy Andy took me to a new kind of acton shooting event. Its called ACTS, and it is so realistic it hurts. It was hosted by a shooting club named Centerline of Calhoun County in Bellevue, Michigan. I didn’t shoot the first time, but I did take some video. The weather was crazy! 30 degrees and heavy snow. You can see the snow accumulating on everything. I had to keep the camera in my pocket to keep it from freezing.
The stages were very challenging, from 100 yard precision to fast and close in the “weapon confiscation” stage. Andy actually finnished in second place. He is better than he lets on. In one of the stages he had a malfunction and cleared it pretty quick to finish the stage. Of course he thinks he was too slow.
Anyway here is some of the video, I know the quality stinks but i left it in there to show what effects the cold has on everything. I will post more in a few days as i get it ready.
