I was working carpentry for the last 2 months and was just too busy to work on any HandgunJoe stuff, so here is an update on everything I have going on:
1.
The new Web site is up and running obviously. Many thanks to Russ at Spyderbyte Media, He did a phenominal job of designing the theme and layout of the new blog.
2.
I have ALOT of video from the last two months. I attended one of Steve Fishers’ Handgun I defensive firearms classes, the video is almost ready. I participated in two ACTS matches, the June video is already up, and The July Combat Rifle Championship pics and video will be up as soon as I can edit it. I suck at shooting video.
3.
I have snap caps ready for sale. They are much better than anything else on the market right now. I make most of the popular calibers and I can make custom stuff too. I’ve sold them on www.ar15.com, & www.migunowners.org. I will be posting some customer reviews soon. You can check them out on the My Stuff for sale page.

4.
I have been working on an adapter to allow the use of the longer 45acp slides on the model 30 subcompact 45. This project is going well but is not ready yet. I’m having trouble finding a machinist who is in my budget.
5.
I want to engineer and build a carbine that uses Glock magazines. I know that others are working on similar projects but they have missed the most important details that make the thing worthwhile. I have some solid ideas that I will be working up in the near future.
6.
I am now certified by the NRA to instruct Basic Pistol, Personal Protection In The Home, Basic Shotgun, and Basic Rifle classes. I plan to offer small CCW-CPL classes for friends and family members.
Introducing new people to the shooting sports and the importance of self-defense is something we should all be thinking about.
7.
I have a few other ideas I want to pursue, but can’t talk about just yet.
Its all hush-hush you know.

…so the short version is I will be doing my best to get these things going full steam but I can’t promise anything as far as dates go.

i can hit well out to about 50 yards or so.

i need a good long eye relief scope to go on it though.

the only wierd thing about it is the spring makes a loud sproing noise when it cycles and it is kind of distracting when you are shooting.

the feed ramp block that comes with it is odd too.

seems like they could make that part of the upper. i dont know really.

its a carbine conversion for the glock 17.

i know its kind of hokey but i have seen them in the rental case at a couple local ranges,

and they must be pretty relaible if they are used that much right?

dont know but i am going to find out.
