well i have shot it quite a bit recently and it is fun.
felt recoil about like a model 34 (9mm) or 35 (.40 cal) and accurate too.
i was hitting at 80 ft with groups about 6in or so.
i have also shot it on my model 30 (.45 acp) which is a double stack compact frame gun.
i had Kevin at KKM Precision make the special barrels needed for the conversion to work.
it is kind of rediculous to put a 6 in slide on a compact gun, but there are some common characteristics that make the fact that it works very interesting.
and yes it also works on the g36 (.45 acp) single stack compact frame.
it is much easier to grip because of the slimmer profile.
but it only holds 7 rounds, even with the mag extension on.
there are also issues with the recoil rod assembly, but i have worked them out.
i am now wondering why the .45 Gap guns dont have the slim slide that the g36 does?
and why does the g36 not also shoot 10mm?
hmm…
